Resizing your breasts for shape & comfort

Breast reduction surgery in my practice is a procedure to enhance the shape of oversized breasts & improve comfort for those suffering from the problems associated with excess breast tissue. A Breast Reduction follows similar surgical principles to a Breast Lift procedure whereby the process of removing breast tissue should allow for reshaping to a more symmetrical & pert shape.

Unfortunately, there are vertical and horizontal scars from the nipple to the inframammary breast fold and in the fold itself with Breast Reduction procedures, but correct scar management will reduce their visibility. There are several scar treatment choices from my rooms.

The procedure will be done under general anaesthetic and will take roughly 120 minutes. You will need to spend the night in hospital, but this is simply to ensure you are comfortable post op.

In most cases there will be many variables to discuss with you should you be considering a Breast Reduction. These include risks and complications but mostly size and shape of your newly formed breasts. That is why I always offer a free second consultation to answer any questions or queries you may have and help you decide what is the best surgical option to take.
