Get your waistline back

Look, there are no two ways about it, nobody likes their belly to hang over their belts – and that is why the tummy tuck was invented. The surgery, in explanation, is pretty simple: I remove excess fat and skin from your midriff and in doing so tighten your stomach and shape your waistline.

Similar to liposuction though, a Tummy Tuck is not a weight loss procedure and I will only consider doing the procedure if you are close to your ideal weight or wanting to get your body back into proportion.

The reason for my hesitation toward performing Tummy Tuck surgery on anyone is that there are two significant things to consider.
First: aesthetic outcome, if you are not near ideal weight the results will be minimal and the last thing, I want is to not satisfy your aesthetic desires.

Second: the scars are significant – they reach from hip to hip, and I do not want to scar a patient that has not tried all the options to get into shape. Of course, we take all the precautions to hide the scars below the waistline but a bigger scar is harder to conceal.

In essence a Tummy Tuck should be the final stage in getting your body back. The great thing about my criteria being so strict is that I get great results and high patient satisfaction. I also really appreciate the effort that has gone into getting back into shape and am glad to aid in your final steps toward the body you want.

The surgery is approximately 120 minutes due to the dissection, but that will be discussed during the consultation. You will also be required to spend a night in hospital, this is just to aid in your recovery. I want you to be as comfortable as possible post op.

If you are considering a Tummy Tuck procedure, feel free to make an appointment and know I always offer my patients a second consult free of charge to answer any new questions and help decide if this surgery really is for you.
